Choose a feature, then click and drag on the plan. Release to place. Choose Select / move to drag existing units.
Change either dimension in place. The layout rejects sizes that overlap a wall or unit.

Drafts save in this browser for each layout. Export to keep a separate copy.
Exports include the full plan and units, with the visible labels. New units start at 600 × 600 mm; selected units can be resized in millimetres. Plan dimensions retain the layout’s original assumptions.
Mouse wheel or +/− to zoom; Fit plan is the minimum zoom. In Select / move, drag the background to pan when zoomed in. Hold Space and drag, or use the middle mouse button, to pan anywhere. Arrow keys move a selected unit 10 mm (Shift: 100 mm). R rotates; Delete removes. Escape cancels a drag. Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes.
Drag to rotate. Ctrl or Shift + drag, right drag or middle drag to pan. Scroll to zoom. Touch: one finger rotates; two fingers pan and zoom. Arrow keys rotate; Shift + arrows pan; +/− zoom.
Off: continue the lean-to all the way. On: finish with a hip to the front corner. Shown with upstairs.
The full house always casts shadows, including when upstairs is hidden.
Add and position Velux roof windows independently of vaulting. Enable Show upstairs to see them in the roof. Side windows apply to the two OPT layouts. Windows are illustrative 78 × 98 cm; positions stay within the roof face. Use Walkthrough to view and change vaulting.
UK local time (GMT/BST), 2026. At 53.454° N, 2.611° W. Front faces approximately 102°, from the site-plan north arrow.
Walls: 247 cm. Opening heights use recorded measurements where available; otherwise doorways/passages assume 190 cm and windows assume 90 cm sills and 190 cm heads. Front bay G001: measured sill 81 cm, frame height 154 cm, head 235 cm; front pane divisions follow owner measurements with illustrative 4 cm frame widths; small return geometry remains unresolved. Thin window frames and clear glazing are illustrative. D006 entrance uses a measured 146 cm opening and 80 × 214 cm door, with inferred frames, 241.5 cm head and lower solid panel; shown closed. D007 uses measured 201 cm overall height, 7 cm assembly/centre frames and 8 cm leaf frames within its plan width, shown closed at an assumed floor-level datum. Existing D005 uses a measured 77 × 194 cm leaf and centred 55 × 93 cm upper glazing, 11 cm below its top; frame and floor datum are inferred, shown closed. New proposed G007/G008 use illustrative G005 proportions with smaller upper panes, as requested. Garage side/front doors are solid and closed; the garage roof always displays. Other unspecified doors are shown open for sunlight. G003/G004/G005 use measured two-pane layouts where present, treating 7 cm as perimeter and divider width. G002 French doors use measured 199 × 230 cm frame/pane sequences, shown closed; floor datum and door top/bottom frames are provisional.
Open-top inspection view. The main ceiling casts shadows at an assumed 247 cm, hidden from view. C001 is flat at the owner-specified 197 cm, with a visible shadow-casting slab. Its approximately square 83.2 cm footprint and 3 cm thickness are illustrative. C002 covers the rear-door recess with a flat underside at 201 cm, level with D007’s frame head. Its 46 cm boxing closes the step to the main ceiling and represents the ceiling void visually; its 145.2 × 57.3 cm footprint is drawing-derived and retained in all layouts. S001 has ten enclosed 20 cm treads/risers at 74 cm width, continuing above Store to a 200 cm turning platform over C001. Thin side/soffit linings and turn footprint are illustrative; storage remains beneath. Proposal beams drop 30 cm from the main ceiling to a 217 cm underside; plan widths remain diagrammatic. Shared upstairs walls, windows, owner half of the chimney and the main, rear-extension and garage roofs follow the original elevations approximately; the large front window has three panels at downstairs width and retains the elevation height. The front roof follows the bedroom setback with equal 15 cm overhangs and a higher recessed edge. The rear extension has a hipped roof; the garage roof is flat. The main ridge is about 814 cm and chimney pots up to 968 cm above ground floor. Both OPTs extend the east-facing low-roof slope as a lean-to or finish with a hip at the same pitch as the other low-roof hips. Front overhang and wall-to-roof infill remain illustrative. Upstairs interiors, upper stairs and engineered sections remain unspecified. Upstairs sources and assumptions. Sun position uses date, UK clock time and the supplied location with an approximate site-plan bearing. Next door stays invisible but casts shadows as a mirror of the selected house across the party boundary; no neighbouring garage is inferred. Other obstructions, trees, weather and atmospheric refraction are omitted.
Click the view to walk. ↑ / ↓ move forward / back; ← / → strafe. Move the mouse to look. Press Tab or Space to cycle plans (Shift reverses); Esc releases the mouse. If mouse capture is unavailable, drag to look. On touchscreens, drag with one finger to look and hold the onscreen arrows to move.
Lower values give a more natural perspective; higher values show more of the room.
Ground floor only. Walls, windows, closed exterior doors and stairs block movement. Open doorways remain passable. Position and look direction carry across plans during this session; a conflicting position moves to the nearest clear spot (within 2 cm search precision).
Off: continue the lean-to all the way. On: finish with a hip to the front corner. This shape also controls the vaulted ceiling and shadows.
Side vaulting applies to the two OPT layouts, behind the kitchen partition. Roof build-up assumes 28 cm including the measured 12.7 cm timbers. The rear-door recess keeps its low flat ceiling. Windows are illustrative 78 × 98 cm; positions stay within the selected vaulted roof face.
UK GMT/BST, 2026. Existing 3D height assumptions apply. Collision clearance assumes an 18 cm body radius and 10 cm above eye level. Ceilings cast shadows. Soft interior fill and contact shading are illustrative, not a daylight simulation.
